My Story
From a very young age, my parents taught me to give to others. My father was part of the Rotary Club, and my mother was a school social worker in Rochester, NY. They believed in assisting their community. They lived this belief out in everything they did.
One of my fondest memories was handing out turkeys to people who needed them at Thanksgiving. I saw the joy in the eyes of others who were in need, and I was able to solve that issue by giving. I went to the University of Dayton Ohio for my undergraduate work and started to work with children and adults. I continued to climb the ranks in social work until 2016 when it all changed.
In 2016, I had my first child who was health compromised, so I went through the medical system as a patient with my son. I lost my employment during that time because I had to care for my child who was not even 6 months old at the time. Fast forward to today, I have created a network of over 40,000 followers on LinkedIn and other social media platforms. I am now the owner of Atlanta Telehealth, which serves our Nation’s Veterans. I also own a consulting agency that builds private practices from the ground up!
My concept for business in healthcare was birthed out of seeing the struggles of private practices and even rural health clinics not understanding the fundamentals of business, then failing due to inconsistent money flow, data breaches, and low patient retention. The list for why practices fail goes and on. I wanted to create a community of healthcare providers who want to make a difference in the world. All they need are some very minor changes in the way they are doing business, but these minor changes MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE BOTTOM LINE!
I have created a safety net for private practices to succeed in this ever-changing world of healthcare.
